I’m Doug. I’m a designer and illustrator living in Baltimore, Maryland (though I hail from the great state of Texas). I’ve been interested in pursuing a career in the arts ever since I ate my first Crayon, and while most folks discover what they like and stick to it, I find that can get boring fast. Alongside design, I enjoy dabbling in BBQ, cooking Tex-Mex, and drinking/brewing craft beer (Bud Light is a four letter word in my book). Although my main focus is print and illustration, I love to design and build beautiful websites and HTML emails. My goal for every project is to do thoughtful, quality work, simultaneously providing a great experience for everyone involved.
“Advertising is like an A-Bomb, they try to take out as many people as they can with a buck. Television! Ads in Time Magazine! Big headlines! Blam! But graphic design’s more market-specific; you’re trying to take out certain people, it’s more like being a sniper.” — Art Chantry
